After the game between Kagera Sugar and Yanga, the Head Coach of Kagera Sugar Paul Nkata made it clear that losing 2-0 to Yanga is like a victory for them as they have played against the best teams in the East and Central Africa region.
Nkata went further by saying that Yanga has scored four goals against big teams and five others while citing as an example the Vital'o club which was beaten by a total of 10-0 goals in the two matches of the preliminary stage of the African Champions League
Nkata's statement has shown the reality of the level that Yanga has placed against other teams. When it happens that the opposing team is happy to score a few goals, it shows you the difference in the level of quality
Even in the semi-final game of the Community Shield in which Simba lost 1-0 to Yanga, the team's fans were not offended by the defeat and rather boasted that their team has improved
The expectation of many in that game was for Simba to shower with goals and it would have been true if it wasn't for the human errors of the referees!
Suffice it to say Yanga have their own league, many will be happy to be closed this season
