Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said his team is well prepared for the premier league game against Kagera Sugar which will be played tomorrow Thursday at the Kaitaba stadium
Speaking in a press conference leading up to the game, Gamondi said they have prepared considering the type of opponent they are facing
Gamondi has noted that he remembers the last match they played at the Kaitaba stadium last year ended in a draw, so he has used that match as a lesson to ensure they get a win there tomorrow
"We have arrived safely and we are well prepared, we are going to start the new season with great motivation. I don't want to look too much at the last game even though we learned a lesson. We are psychologically prepared to play against them considering their style of play and the environment of the field"
em>"This is the beginning of the season, I have explained to my players what the fans need. In short, the people need three points. I know our fans really want us to score a lot of goals, but for us the first thing is three points," said Gamondi
em>Speaking on behalf of his teammates, defender Nickson Kibabage has said that they have planned to correct the mistakes they made last season and led to missing three points in the Kaitaba field
"The game you called in this field we did not get a good result. I know my teammates realize that. Fortunately, it is the first game of the league and we have prepared enough," he said
