The Yanga squad, which included 20 players, a technical bench and several leaders, left Dar es Salaam early today for Kagera, ready for the NBC Premier League game against Kagera Sugar
The game will be played tomorrow Thursday at the Kaitaba stadium, at 12:30 pm
Speaking to the media shortly before climbing the barrel, Yanga Head Coach Miguel Gamondi said he respects Kagera Sugar as it is one of the teams that gave Yanga a hard time last season
"Kagera Sugar is a tough opponent, we have had a difficult time playing at the Kaitaba stadium, probably because we don't play there often"
"But we have made good preparations and we have planned to make sure we start the season well by winning the first game," said Gamondi
And Yanga's assistant captain Dickson Job said after doing well in the match against Vital'o, they are going to Kagera with great morale to make sure they win the game
Yanga will do the final training in the Kaitaba tournament this evening ready for the game
