Despite the offer from the Wydad Athletic club, the President of Yanga Engineer Hersi Said has made clear the club's position on striker Clement Mzize
Hersi said it would not be the right decision for the club to allow Mzize to join Wydad, a club that is currently 'looking for itself' after losing its edge
Hersi has said that Mzize is getting everything in Yanga and now is not the right time for him to leave
"There are so many teams that have made offers for our players, even this team that is the first to build itself (Wydad) made an offer for Mzize
"But if you look at it first, they build themselves like that, in my opinion it is not part of Mzize to go play, how do we send him to a team that does not play for a champion club?"
"Yanga has everything a player needs, he gets it, so when we release a player, he must go to a bigger team than us," said Hersi
Wydad presented an offer worth approximately 270 million which could reach 400 million but the leadership of Yanga insisted that if they want him then they should follow the terms of his contract which has a clause to buy him for Tsh 2.7B
