The President of Yanga Engineer Hersi Said has said that Ali Kamwe will continue with his duties as the Manager of the Information and Communications division while they continue to look for a position for Haji Manara who has completed his two-year suspension from football
After the return of Haji Manara, there has been confusion about his duties and Kamwe who was hired after Manara was closed
"The club recognizes Ally Kamwe as the Information Officer because until now his contract says so. Haji Manara was our Information Officer and he did a very good job during his time and when he was challenged he was banned as a club we needed someone to speak for the club and that's when we took Kambe"
"At the moment, Kamwe is our Information Officer and on the Manara side, he is our Member and we are looking at which part we will put him in the club," said Hersi in the Yesterday and Today program of Wasafi FM
Kamwe recently signed a two-year contract to continue serving Yanga after the previous contract ended
Manara also signed a one-year contract, making him a two-year contract that will end in 2026
