What Yanga did in the CAF Champions League last season when they went to Rwanda to play with Al Merrikh, they plan to repeat it again when they go to Burundi to face Vital'o in the first stage of the championship this season
Yanga will face Vital'o on August 17-18 in Burundi and the return match will be played one week later in Dar es Salaam
Yanga Information and Communication Manager Ali Kamwe has said that they will do a big campaign to ensure that fans go to Burundi in large numbers like they did last season when they went to Rwanda
"We have seen the draw and we are very happy because we will make sure we are going to set a record in Burundi like we did in Rwanda last season when we went to play with Al Merrikh"
"Our preparations are going well Avic Town, this is another season in which we have set goals to do better. It is the knockout matches where you should not underestimate your opponent"
"Our mind is now thinking about these 180 minutes against Vital'o, once we finish then we will start looking at what the next game will be like," said Kamwe
If Yanga makes it past the preliminary stage, the first round will face the winner between SC Villa of Uganda and Commercial Sports of Ethiopia
