Yanga attacking midfielder Augustine Okrah can be given a farewell hand six months since he joined the champions of the NBC Premier League 2023/24
Okrah landed in Yanga in January from Ghana's Bechem United club, which is his second time playing in the Mainland Tanzania league after serving Simba
However, his start with Yanga was not good after he suffered a torn 'nose banana' in the Revolution Cup championship which kept him out for about six weeks before he started playing while wearing a mask
Even after recovering from those injuries, it was not easy for him to break into the first team due to the existing competition
Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi used him in some matches but it is as if he did not convince the Argentinian as he completely removed him from his plans at the end of the season
His fate remains in the hands of the Yanga bosses but it will not be surprising if he is missing from the Yanga squad next season
