Despite the efforts made by the clubs and even TFF in raising the status of the league, the league allowing matches to be played in the environment of stadiums without status is betraying those efforts
Yanga Legal Director Simon Patrick has expressed his regrets after the match between JKT Tanzania and Yanga played at the Major Jen Isamuhyo stadium and ended in a draw.
"Football is a business and entertainment for the audience, there is a way clubs are fighting to raise the status of the league until it becomes the fifth best league in Africa"
"For people who know the importance of 'brand', they would not allow the game of the major league which is monitored by different countries at the moment to be played in the mud like that"
"I realize the lack of infrastructure for stadiums in Tanzania, but I don't believe if we were serious about the brand of our league, we would lack an alternative stadium"
"All in all, I congratulate Yanga for this result, getting this kind of result if you don't know how to swim and slide in the mud is very difficult," wrote Simon on his social network page
