Striker Prince Mpumelelo Dube has filed a complaint TFF claiming he did not sign a new contract beyond the contract that expires at the end of the season
It is alleged that the striker has reneged on the contract that Azam FC says he signed and it expires in June 2026
The attacker has left the TFF with a contract that he says is valid and which reaches its limit at the end of this season i.e. June 2024
The striker has sent various documents as well as other evidence to prove that his legal contract expires at the end of this season
Recently Dube said goodbye to Azam through his Instagram account while thanking various people in the club such as team leaders, various departments as well as the club's fans
Azam Fc club has claimed that Dube is still their legal player while announcing to put him on the market claiming that it has already received two offers from Simba and Al Hilal clubs
Dube has already returned everything that was given to him by Azam Fc, what he wants is to break the remaining contract so that he can become a free player and not otherwise
This saga is very similar to what Feisal Salum once did, who in the end was wise after the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan intervened and Yanga allowed Feisal to join Azam Fc
Perhaps Azam Fc also need to be wise by allowing Dube to join his favorite team and not forcing him to pay more than Tsh 800 million to break his contract
If Dube wins his claim against Azam Fc, it will be one more step towards joining his dream team!
