Yanga fans are still not sure about the fate of their midfielder Khalid Aucho before the Champions League quarter final game against Mamelodi Sundowns which will be played on March 30 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
After undergoing minor knee surgery that was expected to keep him out for three weeks, Aucho has struggled to regain strength and the signs are good that he may return to the game
Yanga doctor Moses Etutu has said that Aucho has made good progress after his treatment and this week he will start light training on the field
"After the surgery, there is a special program we gave him to speed up his recovery. We are happy that he (Aucho) is giving himself up"
"He has finished the first phase of his program, this week we expect him to start light training in the field before joining his colleagues to continue with the team programs," he said
There are 12 days left until the Champions League quarter final game against Mamelodi Sundowns, Aucho's presence in that game will be the best news for the people
