Yanga manager Walter Harrison has assured the members and fans of the team about the conditions of the players Pacome Zouzoua and Yao Kouassi who suffered injuries yesterday in the NBC Premier League game against Azam Fc in which the Citizens accepted a 2-1 defeat at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Walter has said that the initial examination shows that the players suffered normal injuries so he believes they will be ready to face Mamelodi Sundowns on March 30 in the Champions League game
"I should not worry about our players Pacome and Yao, they got injured but their conditions are going well. They are under the care of our doctors and I believe that until the day of the game against Mamelodi Sundowns, they will be ready to give happiness to the people," said Walter
Talking about the game against Azam Fc, Walter said they accepted the result of losing the game even though their goal was to win
"I congratulate Azam Fc for emerging victorious today, that's how football exists in times of happiness and sadness"
"We have had a difficult schedule, we have played four matches in 12 days, we have collected 9 points out of 12, which is not a small thing. The league is a marathon, we still have a chance to defend our championship, we will make sure we do well in the remaining 10 matches"< /em>
