Yanga winger, a citizen of Ghana, Augustine Okrah has said that after recovering from the injuries he sustained in the 2024 Revolution Cup match, he has now returned to his fitness and as the days go by, he is getting stronger
Okrah landed in Yanga in the small registration window that closed on January 15 this year and has already started to show his skills in the team by providing two assists in the ASFC match, which Yanga won 5-0 against the Tanzania Police
In the Champions League game against CR Belouizdad, the few minutes he played in the second half excited the citizens who always wanted him to be given the ball by the way he was flying in the right crowd
Okrah has said that after his health improves, he believes he will have enough time to serve the people
"Initially I had injuries, so I didn't get time to play. If you come out of injuries you can't enter the team directly, thank God I get a chance to play and I believe as the days go by I'm getting stronger and I'll get more time to play and show my quality," said Okrah
Before landing in Yanga, Okrah was playing for the Bechem United club in his home country of Ghana, where in the 16 matches he played, he netted nine times
He is part of the squad that is preparing to face Al Ahly in Egypt tomorrow
Okrah has a big chance to start the game due to the wrist injuries suffered by Maxi Nzengeli in the game against Belouizdad
Nzengeli is also part of the squad but Yanga Coach Miguel Gamondi may not use him in the game against Al Ahly or give him a few minutes
