Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that he expects the competition to be greater in the second round of the NBC Premier League, so they must prepare to face them
Gamondi has led Yanga in 15 matches of the first round, taking them to the top of the league standings after winning 13 matches, drawing one and losing one game
Gamondi said heading into the second round, they will need to be better in order to achieve their goals of defending the league championship
"I expect more difficulty in the final matches of the league, I have told my players that no team comes to us preparing to lose, we see how the opponent's tactics are at the moment, you can see that they think we will win a lot, that's why they don't want to play and decide to defend themselves"< /em>
"We respect their methods but we have to have a different way of looking for victory, we will have a few changes depending on the type of opponents we will meet, we have to win at the best level, every team in these next matches will have their calculations to stay safe," said Gamondi
Yanga starts the second round with a game against KMC which will be played on Saturday, February 17 at Jamhuri stadium in Morogoro
