anga left this morning to Ghana to face Medeama SC, with head coach Miguel Gamondi making it clear that the 180 minutes of the first two matches have given him the light for the game against Medeama on Friday which will be like a final
Speaking before leaving the country, Gamondi said Yanga still has a chance but they have a job to ensure they prepare well to match the existing competition in the remaining matches
Gamondi has mentioned the last two matches against CR Belouizdad and Al Ahly as having helped him identify the shortcomings of his team and he hopes they will be better in the game against Medeama
"The mistakes we made cannot be repeated, we were better against CR Belouizdad, we lost by a large number of goals, we calmed down and equalized the mistakes in the game against Al Ahly, we got one point. The next game will be difficult, but the goals are three points," he said< /em>
Gamondi has said that nothing is impossible if they do enough preparation and prepare well to face Medeama, every game in front of them is now a final.
"We shouldn't be too confident and lead to make mistakes like we did in the last two matches. I can admit that they have given us class, we will enter the next game with caution and respect the opponent"
"This stage is difficult and each team has its own goals to cross the next stage, we still have a chance to cross if we invest our energy there and put honor forward no matter who we meet" said Gamondi
The Yanga team has left with a convoy of 24 players where they are expected to land in Accra at 10pm and then connect to Kumasi City where the game against Medeama will be played on Friday
