Yanga goalkeeper Djigui Diarra has said that his health has improved and he may be ready on Saturday to face Al Ahly in the second game of the Champions League group stage
Diarra was injured in the game against Simba played on November 05 and Yanga won 5-1
The Malian goalkeeper was missing in the game against CR Belouizdad which Yanga lost in Algeria by losing 3-0, there are those who believe his absence contributed to Yanga losing in that game
Diarra has said that he is suffering from shoulder pain and has been asked to get more rest to be in a good condition to return to the field.
"I'm progressing well and I'm training with my teammates, my shoulder problem wasn't big but I needed to get a long break to keep myself in a good competitive condition, I think when the time comes you'll see me on the field"
"I can't make it clear when, but I am in a good condition, the fans can expect to see me on the field any time, I enjoy their love for me, I have received many messages from Nayanga and I assure them we will not let them down," said Diarra
Regarding the previous match, Diarra said it was good and competitive, but luck was not on their side, they have forgotten the result and are preparing for the most important game on Saturday against Al Ahly.
"We have lost, this is part of the result, we are injured, but we are preparing for another game which is more important against Al Ahly at home, we cannot repeat the mistakes, we need all three points to get back on track and the fans get ready to get the entertainment they are used to"< /em>
