Yanga new striker Hafiz Konkoni yesterday opened his goal account in the NBC premier league by scoring the third goal in Yanga's 5-0 win against KMC
Konkoni, who entered in the 64th minute to replace Kennedy Musonda, scored the goal after a free kick by Aziz Ki
Konkoni also provided an assist for the fourth goal scored by Mudathir Yahya after Yanga pressed KMC and robbed them of the ball
Konkoni has said that the goal is very important for him because it has reduced his pressure, especially knowing that his signing is special to replace Fiston Mayele who did great things for Yanga
"Being signed by Yanga to replace one of the best strikers in the continent, Fiston Mayele, knowing that the fans will want you to do like him or more, is something that comes with a lot of pressure"
"I needed to score a goal to remove the pressure, thankfully I succeeded, it was a good start for me," said Konkoni
