Yanga head coach Miguel Angel Gamondi will decide the fate of midfielder Jonas Mkude to be registered with Yanga or not
Yanga Information Officer Ali Kamwe said any team would like to have a player like Mkude who has a lot of experience in Tanzanian and even international football
Kamwe said that if Gamondi will be interested in the midfielder then Yanga members and fans should expect to see him in their squad next season
"Mkude is one of the best holding midfield in the country, he is a player with a lot of experience in Tanzanian football"
"If the coach (Gamondi) needs him then he will be signed because we believe he will make a great contribution to our club. Not just Yanga, even if he is signed by another team we believe his contribution will be great," said Kamwe p>
Mkude has sparked a debate after reports emerged that Yanga has given him a one-year contract
After being associated with Yanga, his former employers Simba have emerged and claimed that they recognize the value of the player and will hold a big event to say goodbye to him at the Simba Day Festival
Among those who questioned Simba's statement made after Mkude was linked to Yanga is Kamwe who said he is not sure if his new team will allow him to leave the pre-season so that he can go and be given farewell
"The player is in the pre-season with his new team and then you tell him to come so that he can be given farewell, where were you to do that earlier? Because you didn't know if you wouldn't continue with him?"
"We said goodbye to Haruna Niyonzima in the last match of the Premier League season. This is what big teams do. I'm waiting to see if his new team will allow him to leave the pre-season , I'm sitting there.....! "
