As the Real Bamako team from Mali arrived in the country yesterday morning, Yanga Sc is determined to emerges with a strong victory at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium and be in a good position to reach the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Competition Director, Saad Kawemba, said all the preparations for the game against Real Bamako have been completed and now what they are waiting for Wednesday when the match will be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, at 7:00 p.m., in the fourth round of the Group D
"All the preparations for the game have been completed, the game is on Wednesday, our guests have already arrived. March 08 we need to give happiness not only to the members and fans of Yanga, but to all Tanzanians. We want to do more than what we did in the match against of TP Mazembe, what we are asking for is Citizens to come out in large numbers," said Kawemba
Mathematically, Yanga can secure a ticket to the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup if they win the match against Real Bamako and the next game against US Monastir, both of which will be played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Yanga is second in the standings of group D with four points, and if they win, will reach seven points equal to the leaders US Monastir of Tunisia who will be at home in Tunisia to face TP Mazembe who is in third place with three points< /p>
If TP Mazembe loses the game in Tunisia, then Yanga's job to go to the quarter finals will be easy as they will need to win these two consecutive matches at home
