Mtine traveled to Egypt to witness the draw where Yanga was drawn in group D with TP Mazembe, US Monastir and Real Bamako
Mtine, who used to work at TP Mazembe for 12 years, said the pressure they had while waiting for the draw is over and after getting to know their opponents, they can do something
"I am very happy now because the worry about who we are playing against is over. The opposition is great but with our quality we Yanga can beat any team in our group"
"The rule of this competition is that you must win your home games and we are sure that we can do that and we have the ability to go further," said Mtine
The head coach of Yanga Nasreddine Nabi said all the teams in group D have a chance to advance to the next stage, so they will prepare to be competitors in every match
"The position is open for all teams, we are going to compete with teams having experience and good investment, but the position is still open. We have a good team and we will have good preparations to prepare for this stage, I believe we will do well and we will qualify," said Nabi
