Mtine, a Zambian, is well known in his home country (Zambia), he has been the Chief Executive of Nkana in the 1980s and made it a threat to Africa before the year 2000-2004 when he defeated Power Dynamos which is a rival club of Nkana and won the league championship Zambian capital and also carry five local titles
He also served on the finance committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) before landing at TP Mazembe where he served in various positions including being a talent scout for the club and led the team to stars who gave it great success in Africa and the world including reaching 2010 World Club Championship final
Mtine also has a career in financial management where he was an Accountant and a member of the Executive Committee of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ)
Mtine is a person of plans and his economic profession and knows football at a high level inheriting the talent of his father Tom Mtine who was once the President of FAZ and a member of CAF
Yanga believes that he is the right person to replace Senzo who asked to rest after managing and completing the process of changing the operating system of the Yanga club
