Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi said they needed to win the game against Mbeya City but have accepted the results of a draw
Nabi said the game was a two-halves affair where in the first half Mbeya City were good at defending putting a large number of players in the middle zone
Nabi said the change in tactics in the second half accelerated the attack and created more chances, but they could not use them
"It was a technical game, Mbeya City defended well especially the midfield are, the first half we were not good but we changed tactics in the second half and created many chances but we could not score," said Nabi
In addition, Nabi has defended the decision not to use midfielder Feisal Salum 'Fei Toto' since the first half, insisting that the Zanzibar-based technician was not the reason for their lack of victory
"The problem was not Feisal, I think as a team we made a lot of mistakes especially in the first half, we had chances to score but we couldn't use them. I respect Feisal, he is a good player"
Feisal's entry changed the game. Nabi replaced David Bryson and brought back Farid Mussa to play left-back
Feisal has returned to the squad recently after recovering from a two-week injury
