Yanga Assistant Coach Cedric Kaze said right-back Djuma Shabani suffered injury in the previous game against Biashara United which ended in a 2-1 win for Yanga
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game against Dodoma Jiji which will be played on Friday, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Kaze said Djuma has not trained with the team since he was injured and will be evaluated after the last training today
However Kaze has said all the other players except Kibwan Shomari, Yusufu Athumani and Yacouba Songne, are ready
In another development, Kaze has confirmed that Yanga intends to sign a foreign player to add strength to the attacking zone
Kaze said they are still evaluating a number of players as they need to sign a player who is better than the current ones
"Of course we are looking to sign a foreign player for the attacking position. But that player must be better than the ones we have. Because we need a player who will add something to our team," said Kaze
