Yanga Sc spokesman Haji Manara said they have not yet received a response to their request to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding the number of fans who will be allowed to enter the stadium to witness the Champions League match between Yanga against Rivers United. >
Manara said until this afternoon, Yanga and TFF leaders will sit down to decide what to do
"We wrote a letter to CAF through the TFF asking for the number of fans we will be allowed to take to the field for the game against Rivers United but so far they have not responded"
"It is a surprise to us as it has become common for them to give such instructions early. If it will be the same this afternoon and there will be no information from CAF we Yanga leaders in collaboration with TFF will sit to find a solution," said Manara
Manara also said they have not yet received a response to a letter from FIFA asking for permission to use players Shabani Djuma, Khalid Aucho and Fiston Mayele whose ITCs arrived a day after the CAF Championship registration window closed
"We have also not received FIFA feedback on our players but we are confident FIFA will respond to us even if they are late"
