Yanga Management has clarified the responsibilities of Haji Manara who joined from Simba
There has been some confusion about the role of 'Bugatti' especially considering Yanga has Information Officer, Hassan Bumbuli and Fan engagement Officer Antonio Nugaz
Acting Secretary General of Yanga Haji Mfikira said Manara will join the fan engagement believing he will help strengthen the unit towards Transformation
"When we announced Manara at the Serena Hotel we did not say what exactly he was coming to do, but I would say the management is careful and has not rushed to take Haji, there are responsibilities and he will work on them especially given the club changes now with a new and more modern system, it will not interact with Nugaz and Bumbuli "said Mfikiwa
"In the changes we are currently making there is the issue of 'fan base', here we need someone to persuade fans to enter the club's official system after all the formalities have been completed, there are various regional fans that the club needs, but they must be persuaded , this is where the need for people or someone who knows how to persuade, who better than Manara ?, that is the area where we believe he will do a great job for the benefit of the club "
Mfikiwa stressed that everyone (Nugaz, Bumbuli and Manara), will do their part for the development of the club and there will be no interaction.
"Fans should trust their leadership, we are there on their behalf, so whatever we do is for the benefit of the team so there is no need to doubt the arrival of Manara in Yanga"
