Towards the climax of Citizens' Week, Yanga plans to set a new record
Speaking in Dar es Salaam Yesterday, the Chairman of the Hamas Committee, Suma Mwaitenda said the end of last season is the beginning of a new season where at the culmination of the celebrations, they hope to do various social activities as well as the launch of new kits. p >
Mwaitenda said the culmination of Citizens' Week will be August 29, this year when the inauguration will take place tomorrow Sunday in Zanzibar and the official guest is the Second Vice President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Hemed Suleiman.
"The aim of Citizens' Week is to return our gratitude to the fans for doing various activities including donating blood, planting trees and providing support to the needy, we will open two branches as well as distribute mattresses at two Mwembeladu and Mnazi Mmoja Hospitals, "said Mwaikenda.
She also said that there will be a protest starting at Yanga Headquarters, prior to visiting their guardian, Mama Fatma Karume and later they will go to Ndui Island where Mzee Karume was alid to rest
"This season we are coming differently, at the peak day there will be many things to surprise Yanga members and fans, including introducing some of the technical bench staffs as well as our motto for this season" < / p>
Acting Secretary General of Yanga, Haji Mfikira, said this is their business and the people should be committed and they should never let down their leaders
