Simba Queens have made a strong start to their bid for the 2026 Women’s Community Shield title after thrashing Yanga Princess 3-0 in the semi-final played today, Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Simba Queens dominated the match and scored through Vivian Corazone, Senaf Wakuma and Merry Siyame, while Yanga Princess failed to find a response until the final whistle.
The victory sends Simba Queens into the Women’s Community Shield final, where they will face JKT Queens in the battle for the season-opening trophy.
Yanga Princess, meanwhile, will have another opportunity to finish on the podium when they face Mashujaa Queens in the third-place playoff after missing out on the final.
