Fadlu Davids Set for Raja CA Exit as Contract Termination Talks Continue

Raja Club Athletic head coach Fadlu Davids is on the verge of leaving the Moroccan club after both parties began discussions aimed at terminating his contract by mutual agreement.

According to reports, a meeting held yesterday between Raja CA officials and the South African coach failed to reach a final agreement on the terms of his departure. The main obstacle remains the compensation package linked to the termination of his contract.

Sources indicate that Raja CA are expected to pay approximately US$215,000 in compensation to end Davids’ contract, with negotiations still ongoing in an effort to reach a final settlement.

Both parties are expected to meet again as they seek to conclude the process and formalize an agreement.

Although no official documents have been signed yet, all indications suggest that Davids’ departure from the club is only a matter of time.

Davids took charge of Raja CA after leaving Tanzania, where he previously served on the technical bench of Simba SC.

Raja CA reportedly decided to part ways with the coach following two consecutive league defeats, results that saw the team drop to fifth place in the standings, four points behind league leaders RS Berkane.
