Simba Head coach Robertinho Oliveira said his team is returning to training to prepare for the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-final against Wydad Athletic
The match will be played on Friday April 28th at the Mohammed V stadium in Morocco
Yesterday Simba won 1-0 in the first leg game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Speaking after the game, Robertinho congratulated Simba players for playing with great discipline and following instructions and successfully emerging victorious
Robertinho said it was not an easy game but it was important for them to win at home, now they are going to plan to make sure they do well in Morocco
"I congratulate my players for a good performance, it was not an easy match. We have played against a big team but we have done well. Our team is getting stronger every day, we have the best players, at the moment every team that is coming to face us should respect us as we respect them, " said Robertinho
"Each game has its own plans and tactics, we return to the training ground to prepare for the return game"
In the second leg game Simba will need a win or any draw, if they lose 1-0 , it will go to extra time and even penalty shoot-out
If Simba scores an away goal even if they lose with a difference of one goal, will qualify to the semi-finals to face Mamelodi Sundowns who have a great chance to reach the semi-finals after a 4-1 away win against CR Belouizdad of Algeria
