Vice President of Yanga, Arafat Haji has said that the growth of the economic power of Simba and Yanga clubs has been the catalyst for the Tanzanian soccer to do well in the International competitions
Arafat said this in the discussion of Simba, Yanga qualifying for the quarter-finals of the CAF competitions, what does it mean for football in Tanzania and the East African, which has taken place on the Twitter social page of Mwananchi.
The leader who was one of the contributors, started by congratulating following the presence of the debate which has brought together Simba and Yanga stakeholders and then said;
"What has brought Simba and Yanga, Stakeholders have contributed in the sense of entering as partners, we have seen Yanga have gone to SportPesa and Simba to M-Bet while there are others"
"This is an advantage that I believe has contributed to these teams reaching far, African football is a very big business, in order to remain strong it needs to be economically sound"
"Our teams have gone a long way by having wide benches by having each person and their area different from the past where one person was doing many things at the same time, in the past we used to see DR Congo doing well but now it has been different it means that the strength of our teams economic has grown," Arafat
said
