Yanga President and Chairman of the African Club Association (ACA), Eng. Hersi Ally Said, has met Tanzania’s Ambassador to Sweden, H.E. Swahiba Mndeme, during his visit to Stockholm, Sweden.
During the visit, Eng. Hersi held discussions with Ambassador Mndeme on various matters concerning the development of sports, particularly the role of Tanzanians living abroad in promoting and developing Tanzanian sports internationally.
The club president also had an opportunity to meet with leaders of Kilimanjaro FF, a team owned and run by Tanzanians living in Sweden.
Kilimanjaro FF has been part of efforts by Tanzanians living in Sweden to nurture talent and build a sporting bridge between Tanzania and the diaspora.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the leaders to exchange experiences and ideas on football development, sporting cooperation and ways to continue bringing Tanzanians together through sport.
