Following their 1-0 international friendly victory over Ethiopia’s St George, Yanga management have given players who have no national team commitments a break.
According to reports, the players have been granted eight days off before returning to camp next week to begin preparations for their Premier League clash against Simba, scheduled for October 10 at Uhuru Stadium.
The league has been suspended for approximately 21 days to accommodate the FIFA international calendar, with league action set to resume after the international matches scheduled during the FIFA window are completed.
In addition to their Premier League commitments, Yanga will also face Madagascar’s CFFA FC in October in a CAF Champions League tie for a place in the group stage.
