Attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki was among the players who took part fully in Yanga's final preparations yesterday ahead of today's Premier League clash against Fountain Gate at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium.
Since completing his return to Yanga, Aziz Ki has been following a special training programme aimed at improving his fitness before officially resuming competitive duties.
However, his inclusion in the Yanga squad that travelled to Arusha to face Fountain Gate suggests that coach Manqoba Mngqithi could be planning to use him in today's match.
It should be noted that after the match, Yanga will travel to Botswana for the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary-round tie against Gaborone United.
Mngqithi will need Aziz Ki for the major continental competition, where Yanga have set ambitious targets for the season.
There is a strong possibility that Aziz Ki will make his first appearance for the Wananchi today since returning to the club.
