Young Yanga defender Abubakar Nizar Othman, popularly known as “Ninju,” has joined Polisi Tanzania on loan until the end of the season, it has been confirmed.
In a move aimed at ensuring the 18-year-old defender gets more playing time, Yanga’s technical bench is understood to have recommended that he be sent out on loan.
Yanga have added several young talents to their squad during this transfer window, and they will also need to provide opportunities for youngsters following the introduction of a new rule requiring clubs to field U20 players for at least 9 percent of their match minutes.
Yanga still have long-term plans for Ninju, meaning that if he makes good progress during his spell with Polisi Tanzania, he is expected to return to the squad next season.
