The NBC Premier League continues today, with defending champions Yanga hosting Coastal Union at KMC Complex in a match scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m.
After a 3-1 victory over Namungo FC in their opening match at Majaliwa Stadium, Yanga will return to action today with one clear objective: securing another victory and moving to the top of the league standings.
It will be Yangaβs first home match of the season, giving their supporters an opportunity to watch their team in action on home soil for the first time this campaign.
The match is unlikely to be an easy one. Yanga head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has acknowledged that they expect strong opposition from Coastal Union but says his team is well prepared to secure victory.
Yanga fans could also witness the return of Stephane Aziz Ki, who joined the club from Libyan side Al Ittihad.
The match could also provide an opportunity for supporters to see striker Suleiman Mwalimu in action after Yanga signed him from Wydad AC, securing his services ahead of rivals Simba.
