Reigning NBC Premier League champions Yanga SC are expected to make another piece of history today, Saturday, August 15, 2026, by officially unveiling their new "X-Factor" signing at KMC Complex in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam.
The high-profile event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m., giving Yanga fans and members the opportunity to witness what the club has described as a major signing that could bring the transfer window to a spectacular close.
The club has set the entrance fee at just TSh 2,000 for the regular stands, while holders of the digital "Black Card" will have access to a designated VIP area.
Yanga's management has kept the player's identity under wraps in an effort to surprise its supporters.
However, reports from sources close to Jangwani suggest that the player could be talented midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki, who is reportedly set to return to the club on a lucrative deal estimated to be worth more than $800,000, approximately TSh 2 billion, with significant financial backing from the club's main sponsor, GSM.
KMC Complex to Become Yanga's New Home
In addition to the unveiling ceremony, Yanga will use today's event to officially launch KMC Complex as their new home venue for domestic matches during the 2026/27 season.
The decision comes after the club abandoned plans to use Uhuru Stadium in Temeke as their home ground.

After the excitement surrounding the "X-Factor" unveiling concludes at KMC Complex in Mwenge, Yanga's management has installed a large screen so that the fans gathered at the stadium can watch the team's opening Premier League match together.
Yanga will face Namungo FC today at Majaliwa Stadium in Ruangwa, Lindi Region, in their first league match of the season.
