Yanga’s new striker Suleiman Mwalimu has arrived in Zanzibar to join his teammates for their final training session this evening ahead of tomorrow’s Community Shield clash against Simba at the New Amaan Complex Stadium.
Mwalimu has arrived in Zanzibar for the second time within a day and a half, but this time wearing the Yanga colours.
He arrived on the island yesterday evening and trained with Simba, but today he will train with Yanga and could potentially have the chance to face his former employers, Simba, tomorrow.
Yanga signed Mwalimu in the early hours of today after taking him from Simba’s training camp and having him sign his contract at 4:00 a.m.
He arrived in Zanzibar accompanied by Yanga Vice President Arafat Haji and Head of Information and Communications Ali Kamwe.
