Yanga's Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, has announced that the club's new kit for the 2026/27 season will be officially unveiled at some point over the next two days.
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Kamwe said the kit launch will be accompanied by a special surprise for Yanga supporters, urging fans and club members to stay ready.
"Within the next two days, starting today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, Yanga's new-season kit will be revealed.
"We cannot say exactly when because we have a surprise planned, but what is important is that within these two days, Yanga's new kit will be available.
"Those of you who want to buy it should have your money ready because within these two days we are going to launch the best kit of all time—something never seen before.
"This time we hired a designer from France. The jerseys you see us wearing now are only our training kits, so just imagine what the official match kit will look like," Kamwe said.
Meanwhile, ahead of Mwananchi Week, the launch event will be held in Ushirombo instead of Katoro in Geita, as previously announced.
Kamwe said the change of venue was made to accommodate the importance of the event and the participation of other stakeholders, including Azam TV, which will broadcast the ceremony live.
As part of Mwananchi Week activities, Yanga will also take part in the inauguration of Bukombe Stadium, where the team's players are expected to hold a training session on the newly opened pitch.
