Yanga's new striker, Peter Shalulile, is expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam today to officially begin his journey with the reigning Tanzania Mainland Premier League champions.
As with the club's other signings during the current transfer window, Shalulile will be officially unveiled to supporters and the media at 5:00 p.m. today. He is also expected to sign his contract in front of journalists during a special ceremony organized by the club.
The Namibia international joins Yanga from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns, where he enjoyed a highly successful six-year spell.
During his time at Sundowns, Shalulile established an impressive record by becoming the all-time leading scorer in South Africa's Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Wearing the Sundowns jersey, he scored 130 league goals and added another 20 goals in the CAF Champions League.
Yanga supporters are now eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see the prolific striker begin the next chapter of his career in Tanzania, with high expectations that he will continue his outstanding goalscoring form.
