Yanga's Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, has revealed that the club still has two foreign players awaiting official unveiling as it finalizes its international recruitment for the new season.
At the moment, Yanga have 11 foreign players taking part in the club's pre-season training camp at Avic Town.
The addition of two more foreign signings would increase Yanga's total to 13 foreign players, meaning the club would have to release one player to comply with the limit of 12 foreign players.
The seven foreign players retained from last season's squad are Djigui Diarra, Yao Kouassi, Chadrack Boka, Duke Abuya, Maxi Nzengeli, Allan Okello, and Laurindo Aurelio "Depu."
They have been joined by four new signings unveiled during the current transfer window: Cheick Ibrahim Toure, Housseine Zakouani, Albert Kangwanda, and Peter Shalulile.
If two more foreign players are added, Yanga will be forced to part ways with one of their current foreign players. Looking at the squad, the attacking department appears to have the greatest depth, making it the most likely area where the club could reduce its foreign-player contingent.
