Today marks the birthday of Yanga SC President and Chairman of the African Clubs Association (ACA), Engineer Hersi Said.
Over the past five consecutive seasons, Hersi has played a key role in shaping and leading one of the most successful periods in Yanga's history, with the club winning more than 15 trophies during his tenure.
Now in the middle of his first four-year term, Hersi has earned the confidence of Yanga members, who are set to elect the club's leadership for another four-year term in elections scheduled for next week.
Hersi is seeking re-election unopposed, a reflection of the strong trust and confidence that Yanga supporters and members have in his leadership.
