Despite being offered the opportunity to remain as an assistant coach at Yanga, Abdihamid Moalin is not expected to be part of the Tanzanian champions' technical bench for the upcoming season, according to reports.
It is understood that Moalin was seeking a more senior coaching role than assistant coach, and the two parties were unable to reach an agreement over his future at the club.
Further reports indicate that the coach has received an offer from a Kenyan club to take over as head coach.
Moalin returned to Yanga to strengthen the technical staff, which was initially led by head coach Pedro Gonçalves.
Following Yanga's decision to part ways with Gonçalves, Moalin was entrusted with leading the technical bench until the end of last season. During that period, he guided the club to its fifth consecutive Tanzania Mainland Premier League title.
