Defending NBC Premier League champions Yanga have continued their busy transfer window by officially unveiling prolific striker Cheikh Ibrahima Touré, a Senegalese forward who also holds French citizenship.
The 29-year-old joins the Jangwani-based club from Saudi Arabian First Division side Al-Jabalain FC after signing a two-year contract that will keep him at Yanga until 2028.
The signing is seen as part of Yanga's strategy to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new domestic season and their CAF Champions League campaign.
A Proven Goalscorer
Standing at 1.87 meters tall, Touré is known for his ability to use both feet effectively and his clinical finishing in front of goal.
His recent performances played a major role in convincing Yanga's management to secure his signature as they look to improve the team's goalscoring efficiency.
During the 2025/26 season with Al-Jabalain in Saudi Arabia, Touré scored 19 goals and provided five assists across all competitions, establishing himself as one of the club's key attacking players.
Before moving to the Middle East, the striker built a strong reputation in France, where he represented several lower-division clubs and consistently found the back of the net.
While playing for AS Poissy, Touré scored 37 goals and finished as the league's top scorer in one of his seasons with the club.
He also enjoyed productive spells elsewhere in France, scoring nine goals for Paris 13 Atletico, 11 goals for Nancy-Lorraine's reserve team, and adding further goals during his time with Bergerac Périgord and Dijon FCO B.
Overall, Touré arrives at Yanga with a career tally of more than 85 competitive goals.
