Yanga have so far unveiled three domestic signings in what appears to be a carefully planned recruitment strategy ahead of the new season.
After facing significant challenges last season, particularly player fatigue caused in part by a lack of squad depth, Yanga President Hersi Said has returned to the transfer market with a stronger emphasis on building a balanced and sustainable squad.
The club's recruitment strategy is aimed at creating a new generation of Yanga players capable of dominating Tanzanian football for many years to come.
Most of the players signed so far are young talents expected to serve the Tanzania Mainland champions over the long term.
Winger Juma Abushiri "Chuga Boy" (18) and striker Hussein Mihambo (19) have been signed as long-term investments, while right-back Abdulnassir Assa Mohamed "Gamal" (27) has been recruited to strengthen the right side of the defense following the departure of Israel Mwenda.
Yanga have also signed 22-year-old central defender Mohamed Mussa from Mashujaa FC, with his official unveiling still pending, in another move that reflects the club's long-term planning.
On the wing, the club has added 24-year-old Erick Mwijage, who played for KMC last season.
Yanga have also been linked with 23-year-old midfielder Alphonce Mabula, a Tanzania national team player, as they continue to strengthen the squad.
At the same time, the club is continuing to develop promising young talents already within its ranks, including defender Aboubacar Nidhar "Ninju" (18) and Abdulnassir Mohamed Abdallah "Casemiro" (21).
Yanga's management has adopted a clear strategy of building a future team centered around talented domestic players while maintaining a squad capable of competing for titles in the present.
The club has also succeeded in retaining several key players whose contracts had expired and is expected to add more experienced signings, particularly to strengthen the team for CAF competitions.
This transfer window reflects a balanced recruitment approach, combining extensive scouting of local talent with the addition of experienced players to create a competitive and well-rounded squad.
