Yanga have completed the signing of right-back Abdulnasir Gamal from Mashujaa FC as they continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
Gamal joins the Tanzania Mainland champions as the replacement for Israel Mwenda, who left the club after the expiry of his contract.
The defender joined Mashujaa FC ahead of the 2023/24 season from Zanzibar's Mlandege and becomes the second player Yanga have signed from Mashujaa during the current transfer window.
Earlier today, Yanga officially unveiled the signing of teenage striker Hussein Juma Mihambo, who also arrived from Mashujaa FC.
Yanga's business with Mashujaa FC is not yet complete. As previously reported, the club has also secured the signing of central defender Mohamed Mussa from the same club, with his official unveiling still pending.
The signing of Gamal, along with the club's other new arrivals, is part of Yanga's long-term strategy to build a stronger squad capable of sustained success.
Welcome to Jangwani, Gamal!
