Yanga have entered a new era under South African head coach Manqoba Mngqithi, who is continuing to finalize his plans before arriving in Tanzania to officially begin his duties.
The former Golden Arrows coach has been tasked with maintaining Yanga's domestic dominance while making the club an even stronger force in the CAF Champions League.
Coach Wants Two New Wingers
According to a report by South African outlet iDiski Times, Yanga are in the process of signing two wingers currently playing in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The first target is Thulani Gumede of Richards Bay. Gumede has established himself as one of the club's key players thanks to his pace on the flanks and his contribution in attack.
The second target is Justice Figareido of Chippa United. The Eswatini international winger has made more than 20 appearances for his national team and has recorded 11 goals and eight assists in 111 PSL matches.
Reports indicate that both players are interested in joining the Tanzanian champions, with the clubs currently working to finalize the transfer negotiations.
If the deals are completed, Yanga will significantly strengthen their wide attacking options, giving Mngqithi greater tactical flexibility as he prepares the team for both domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League.
