Young Africans SC (Yanga) captain Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto has officially become a free agent after his contract with the Tanzanian champions expired.
The defender's manager, Carlos "Mastamind," confirmed that his client is now available on the open market following the end of his contract, adding that they will review all offers on the table after July 15.
"Mwamnyeto's contract has ended, and for now he is completing his community commitments. On July 15, we will sit down and evaluate the offers that have been presented to us."
"He had a very good season, winning the league title with Yanga and scoring in important matches. It is clear that our first priority is to renew his contract with Yanga."
"He has been at Yanga for six seasons and is willing to remain at the club, provided there is an agreement that satisfies both parties. If that is not possible, we will consider the available offers and make a decision," said Mastamind, who also represents Yanga player Mohamed Hussein, popularly known as 'Zimbwe Jr.'
