The transfer window ahead of the 2026/27 competitive season has officially opened, giving clubs in the Tanzania Premier League, Championship, First Division, and Women’s League the opportunity to strengthen their squads.
The window officially opened on Monday, July 6, 2026, and will close on August 15 at 11:59 PM.
Clubs now have around 40 crucial days to improve their squads and prepare for the challenges of the 2026/27 season.
Tanzania Mainland champions Yanga SC started their recruitment process early, with the club’s Information and Communication Manager, Ali Kamwe, revealing that they will soon begin unveiling their new signings.
