Uganda international midfielder Khalid Aucho has reached a mutual agreement with Singida Black Stars to end his time at the club after one season with the team.
Aucho joined Singida BS last season from Yanga SC, signing a two-year contract with the club.
However, after just one season, the midfielder has decided to leave, with fans now waiting to see where his next destination will be.
As Aucho departs Singida BS, Yanga are currently searching for a defensive midfielder, with mixed opinions among supporters over whether the experienced player should return to Jangwani.
Some fans would welcome his comeback, while others believe his three seasons with Wananchi were enough, considering his advancing age.
When he left Yanga, Aucho made it clear that he would always remain part of the Yanga family, believing he could return to the club in the future, even in a different role.
Yanga honoured Aucho with a special award in recognition of his significant contribution to the club, particularly his role in helping restore the team's competitiveness and winning trophies.
He was among the players who played a key role in Yanga's transformation after being signed by GSM alongside other influential stars such as Djigui Diarra, Fiston Mayele, Jesus Moloko, Yannick Bangala, Djuma Shaban, and Heritier Makambo, who returned to the club for a second spell from Horoya AC.
It was during the 2021/22 season that Yanga began their run of consecutive trophy successes and reclaimed their dominance in Tanzanian football.
