Defender Frank Assink has completed his season-long loan spell at Yanga SC.
Assink joined Yanga last season on a loan deal that expired on June 30 following the conclusion of the NBC Premier League campaign.
Yanga have not opened talks with the Ghanaian defender over a permanent move, and he is now likely to return to his parent club, Singida Black Stars.
Reports indicate that Yanga management plans to sign a local defender to fill his position, allowing the club to use its foreign player slots to strengthen other areas, particularly in attack.
The Tanzanian champions have been linked with TRA United defender and captain Nasri Kombo, with reports suggesting that the club has already reached an agreement with the player.
Yanga faced defensive challenges last season, especially after vice-captain Dickson Job suffered an injury during their match against Simba on March 1.
Job is expected to return to action during the clubβs pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.
