Senior members of Yanga SC have called on Simba SC supporters to return to the Jangwani area and clean up what they described as the mess left behind following the club's victory parade earlier this week.
The Yanga elders said Jangwani is a place of great importance to the club's members and supporters and should be treated with respect.
They gave Simba supporters three days to ensure that the area is cleaned, stressing that Jangwani is a public space that should not be left littered or misused.
According to the elders, the incident occurred when a group of Simba fans taking part in the victory parade entered the site where Yanga's new stadium is under construction. They alleged that some individuals urinated in the area, while others defecated there.
They further claimed that this was not the first time some Simba supporters had been accused of such behavior.
